Based in the sunshine state of Queensland, Australia, I've been working at this photography game on and off for years now. I couldn't tell you when it started, and I can't tell you that I've been using cameras since before I could talk, because I haven't. What I can tell you is that travelling the world has ignited a passion in me for capturing moments, cultures, people, and places in their most natural state. I grew up in small town New Zealand, flew the coop to Brisbane at 18, and have been fending for myself since then. With 12+ years in the hospitality industry, it's safe to say I know a thing or two about making good drinks, and I've always been creative in that aspect, but it wasn't really until I went to Japan that I picked up a camera seriously and started travelling to make art.

Photography, for me, is an artform that transcends generations, and captures emotion, both in prosperity and turmoil, in ways that few other artforms can accurately do. It's why I draw inspiration from new and unfamiliar places so easily, and it's why I keep art and memories from my travels on my walls at home. It's this strong emotion that I strive to portray in my work, and that I don't think is limited to photography as a two dimensional artform. Andy Warhol once wrote that "business art is the highest form of art", and I'm starting to understand why. My goal with this little endeavour of mine is not to make a business out of the art I create, but to create art for other small businesses to grow and expand their brand and presence in the digital world.

Nowadays if you want to stand out online in this crowded world of influencers and metaverses, you need a digital presence. Aside from making physical and tangible artworks for people to look at, my goal is to help build brands in the digital space for small up-and-coming venues, brands, or products that I believe can make a positive impact within their chosen industry.

Art means the world to me, and finding that balance between art and work is a tough one that I feel constantly changes, but I'm always trying to walk the line and figure it out as I go.
